Part art installation, part emotional journey, this Emmy Award-winning activation transformed Toronto’s underground PATH network into a luminous celebration of belonging. Produced by Wonderscreen and Cineplex for Pride Week, the experience followed the story of a solitary dancer moving through darkness and uncertainty, leaving behind trails of light with every gesture.

What begins as a portrait of isolation gradually evolves into connection. As the dancer encounters others, individual light signatures intertwine, building a vibrant tapestry of movement, colour, and collective energy. The once-separate figure becomes part of something larger, culminating in a striking visual crescendo as the flowing ribbons of light resolve into the Pride flag itself.

A visually poetic tribute to inclusion, identity, and community, the installation turned a daily commuter corridor into an unforgettable expression of what it means to be seen, accepted, and celebrated.
